What's New in SavvyIdeas - May 2026

Over the past few weeks we've shipped a round of improvements that make SavvyIdeas more powerful for teams managing feedback at scale, while keeping things clean and simple for everyday users. And to make it even better, all accounts have been upgraded to 3 users!

Here's what's new.

Submission Assignees - Route Feedback to the Right Person

The biggest addition in this release is the Submission Assignee role.

Until now, everyone with access to a suggestion box could see every submission inside it. That works fine for small teams, but as your organisation grows - or as you use SavvyIdeas for more sensitive channels - you often want to route specific submissions to specific people without giving them full visibility into everything else.

With the Submission Assignee role, you can now assign a team member to individual submissions. Assignees can view, reply to, and manage the submissions they've been assigned - and nothing else. Account Admins and Box Managers continue to see everything, as before.

User Archiving - Offboard Without Losing History

When a team member leaves, you no longer need to choose between keeping their account active and losing their contribution history. You can now archive a user.

Archived users are excluded from all active user lists, so you can't assign subissions to them or give them access to a box, and can't log in. Their past activity - submissions reviewed, notes added, replies sent - is preserved in full. If circumstances change, an archived user can be restored at any time.

Enhanced Box User Management

Managing who has access to a suggestion box is now significantly more flexible. You can add users to boxes, and edit or remove their access, from two places:

  • The Box settings page - manage access in context while you're editing the box.
  • The Users page - view and manage a specific user's box access from their profile.

Both paths are fully in sync, so you can work from whichever view makes most sense for what you're doing.

These updates are live now. As always, if you have feedback or ideas for what to build next - well, you know where to put them.
