SavvyIdeas and Free Suggestion Box compared
SavvyIdeas and Free Suggestion Box are both solutions that will help you collect and manage anonymous employee feedback. There’s plenty of overlap in terms of features, and where the two tools deliver value, but there are also some big differences.
Free Suggestion Box has been around for a while, and it shows. The interface is cluttered, unintuitive, and missing basic functionality that becomes critical once you have more than a handful of suggestions.
With SavvyIdeas, we've focused on building a fast, modern, beautiful solution that works exactly how you'd expect.
Despite its name, you'll have to pay to access most of Free Suggestion Box's features. And even when you pay, you'll find that the features are limited.
With SavvyIdeas, we give you all the features you need, on every plan. You only need to upgrade if you want to add more suggestion boxes or users.
Responding to feedback is critical to build trust with your employees. Whilst Free Suggestion Box provides the ability to post a public response to feedback, that's all it offers.
SavvyIdeas has built in workflow to manage feedback from start to finish, so nothing gets missed or forgotten, and a public portal to share feedback, and the response to it.
Need more information about feedback you've received? Want to ask a follow-up question? You can't do that with Free Suggestion Box.
SavvyIdeas enables you to carry on the conversation, anonymously and securely. Even if they didn't provide their contact information.
Frequently asked questions
We strongly believe that it is.
Anonymous feedback has many benefits, especially when you have the ability to reply to the anonymous feedback. Anonymity encourages honesty and openness, as employees feel safe to share their true thoughts without fear of retribution. This can lead to more useful insights, helping organizations identify issues and opportunities.
It is.
We don't:
- Collect any identifiable information from those submitting feedback.
- Collect any information about a submitter's web browser, IP address or anything related to their computer or web connection. The ONLY information saved is the text of their response.
- Require anyone to create an account to submit feedback.
Anyone submitting feedback can, if they choose to, provide their email address to enable SavvyIdeas to notify them when there is a response. If they do provide their email address it is encrypted before being stored and is never visible to SavvyIdeas users.
We take anonymity seriously, and have built SavvyIdeas to ensure that your employees can submit feedback without fear of being identified.
We take security and reliability seriously. Measures we’ve taken to protect your data include:
- SavvyIdeas runs on the robust Microsoft Azure infrastructure platform.
- We don’t store credit card data on our servers. All payment processing is handled by Paddle.
- We use SSL encryption across the platform.
- We have a robust backup policies for our application and data.
SavvyIdeas was created to provide a simple, affordable way to get feedback anonymously from teams he worked with
Where did the idea come from? I wanted to solve a problem I saw at many companies I'd worked during my career - namely that employees have lots of great ideas, and know where there are problems lurking, but have no way to tell their leaders or don't feel safe to do so.
There were other tools available that tackled the same problem, but they were often aimed at large companies, cost hundreds or even thousands of dollars a month, and were complicated to set up and use. SavvyIdeas was designed to be affordable, easy-to-use, and have all the features you need and none that you don't.
